About Me
Outside of work and school, I've spent most of my life on the couch, watching sports and screaming at the TV. Not wanting to end up like my big fat uncle Ronny, I knew I had to find a way to funnel my energies and opinions into a more productive endeavor.
With that in mind, I started posting videos on YouTube, expressing my own unique opinion on sports and the media circus that often follows. Despite the feelings I have for my favorite teams, I try to remain impartial in my videos, like a true journalist.
Speaking of which, here are a few of my favorite teams... my mom was always a Skins fan, with Joe Gibbs, John Riggins and the Hogs, so that naturally rubbed off on me. But seeing as how I was born and raised in Colorado, I love the Broncos too (Super Bowl XXII was my first sports memory and likely screwed me up more than puberty).
Baseball was always the Red Sox, primarily because I was a big fan of the Rocket. I even had his jersey as a little girl... then he went off and became a huge dirt bag, but I still love the Sox.
Hockey is the Avalanche because of Patrick Roy and basketball it's the Suns... had a boy friend that was from Phx, and the suns were good then, but not so much any more. Honestly, i don't really care for the NBA anymore.
Anyway, I'll be posting here at Truefan, as well as my own website (TheSportsReportGirl.com), YouTube (YouTube.com/TheSportsReportGirl) and Twitter (twitter.com/SportReportGirl).
My name is Shi Ne (pronounced "Sheena") and I hope to see you around!
