Faith Rewarded

The Yankees are streaking and we can't win.
The grind of the season is setting-in.
The dog days of August are drawing near.
Red Sox Nation is in a state of fear.
Don't you worry, don't be blue.
Because our boys in red will come through.
Don't lose faith in our home town team.
They have a championship dream.
So don't give-in and switch camps.
Because our Red Sox will be World Champs.
They have all that it take to be number one.
This will be a golden summer of fun.
So keep your faith it will be rewarded.
The Evil Empire will be thwarted.
Those Yankees are about to feel the pain.
And our Red Sox will again reign.
