Alert...All Sawxheads!!!

I have just discovered that the battery in my 2004 Red Sox World Champions wristwatch gave out at 7:05 - either last night or this morning. I need some guidance here, and fast - like in the next 20 minutes. There's no way I can get to the mall and get a battery installed before the start of game 1 today.

My only option, barring any other suggestions, will be to employ my God-given Yankee ingenuity. If I don't hear from anyone, I will be forced to hook the thing up to my truck's battery with jumper cables and spend the next 11 minutes with the pedal to the floor. There are negative waves at work here. I WILL NOT buckle under the pressure.

	I don't blame game 1 on Byrd - in fact, I think he's probably one of the better starting pitchers the Red Sox could have acquired. The Red Sox need to get their shiite together really fast, because they need to win the division in order to win a championship. 09/13/2008 6:13 PM

	It's a good watch, the only thing I don't like about mine is that it's not water resistant and it doesn't have a dated display. But the 2004 World Champions part more than makes up for it. 09/13/2008 8:54 PM
