Why did it come to this?

I remember when Manny came to Boston. I had no idea who he was and I had my doubts. Then he hit the first pitch to him straight out of the park, and I was a fan. I soon read all I could on him and looked forward to games he was playing. I wasn't a fan of the dreads but hey, the man was good and that forgives a lot. I was known for saying "Manny being Manny" and for unashamedly defending him. I was a fan.
Seeing him in that Dodgers' uniform and playing for Torre with that traitor Garciapara makes me sad. I wish Manny all the best. From what I have read he didn't want to leave in the end. Than why did it take you 5.75 seconds to run to first base?
We had some good times... I have homer #438 mounted on my TV and maybe one day I'll get it signed. Good Luck Manny....
