The roar of the Drill Instructor starts the day off right.
The intensity and motivation are high all night.
You run and scramble all day long.
The Drill Instructor always there to make you strong.
Your will is tested and you're so sore you want to wail,
And you always wonder if you won't make it and fail.
But in an instant, something makes you fight.
Honor, Courage and Commitment make things right.
You get stronger, faster; lean and mean.
Your body and mind become one machine.
Your back becomes straight and your stride more true.
Your now a Marine sporting Dress Blues.
