	George Plimpton was a writer and sports fan-wrote for National Lampoon, did articles for Sports Illustrated etc. Also wrote a book "Out of My League" where he writes about his baseball exploits, when he faced the A.L. & N.L. All-Star line-ups in Yankee Stadium in Autumn 1960 as an amateur. Also did some acting. 11/20/2008 2:50 PM
