Stop the Manny Insanity !!!!

Enough of this Manny Bull!!! All of you 10^th inning Managers and wanna be Sports Announcers, “News” casters, Whatever … Get you heads outta Dan Shaughnessy’s ASS and think for yourselves.

Yes there are issues in the Sox clubhouse. How about we allow Terry to handle his mis-behaving children. It’s not like he hasn’t dealt with this crap before. Just because a guy makes multi millions, doesn’t mean he can’t lose focus. That’s a Manager’s job to correct…NOT us.

If you must be bashing, complaining in your clueless fashion. Please kindly do so after the season. That’s when we CAN do something about it. All this Manny complaining is just feeding more into the fire and distracting from what our boys are trying to do. And that is simply PLAY BALL!!!!

I'm pissed off too, BUT the truth is the Yanks are Hot right now!!! That’s the facts people. Stop pointing fingers and trying to find blame. That’s just as childish as what you are blaming Manny for. Why don’t YOU Jay the Walk and play in traffic, see yah next Season.

This is the Team we got. Suck it up and support it!!! Be constructive, quit whining. We Win as a Team We Lose as a Team.

That is the beauty of America, I can say that Manny is being a selfish prick and that I want him gone, and there isn't a damn thing that anyone can do about it (other than post pissed off response blogs). We are the fans of the team, we go to the games, buy the apparel, spend $150 on a hotdog, WE are the ones that pay these guys, so I think that we are entitled to give our opinions, and MY opinion is that Manny has finally overstayed his welcome. He doesn't hustle, he criticises ownership, he pushed down an old man over tickets, every single season Manny demands a trade, fakes injuries, and the list goes on and on. "Manny being manny" is an excuse and nothing else, RSN lets Manny be an IDIOT and "oh well, that is just manny being manny!", and we smile and forgive. I for one say NO MORE! NO MORE will I forgive the fake injuries, NO MORE will I forgive a 500 foot single because Manny stood to admire his "HR", NO F'ING MORE! Ah the free speech thing. Yeah we are blessed to have free speech and freedom of the press and all that, GOD BLESS AMERICA. It's a shame though that we tend to forget that with that freedom comes responsibility. For example if one makes a comment about paying 150$ for a hot dog or a 500 foot single that would lead me to believe that the writer is either severely lacking in perceptive ability or likes to over exaggerate things. Or the other option is that the writer has absolutely no idea what a hot dog costs or that 500 feet is a long homer no matter which park it is, because said writer has never been to a game. However I don't know and making assumptions is just wrong. The same mentality applies to Manny's injuries; none of us know ergo Manny deserves the benefit of the doubt. It's just kind of funny how we lose some tough games and it's all Lugo's fault, let's get rid of him. Now Lugo is on the DL, we still lose tough games and now we gotta get rid of Manny. I'm the one that made the post...I simply said Manny will be gone. There are better options. No, I am not Dan Shaughnessy, he bites. As a matter of fact, I belive the Sox will be fine and still win. I have never posted anything different! Nor have I made reference to MY not believing in the team. Fisk & Lynn, as someone referred to, are not the same as Manny. They were in their prime! Manny for the money, is not giving what this town, a blue collar-hard working town, is worth. He helped us win two championships, I agree, but does that mean overpay him while better players become available to help you win more, at less money? Manny is Manny and will always be. Take him or leave him for good or for bad! I love Manny. Do I always agree he's thinking straight? No. He should stop talking to the press. What a story he makes. The media has a way of sensationalizing and who better than Manny to get the fans revved up? Stop being manipulated by the press. Oh yes, I did exxagerage the 500 foot single, and the $150 hotdog...simply for effect. I have a very strong knowledge of baseall, and have been to MANY games. I also understand that the responsiility that is involved with being granted "free speach". I have never said that Red Sox troubles are based on Julio Lugo's play (as Julio Lugo is EASILY replaced no matter what is going on with him). A lot of the fans on here are so blinded by their passion that they can't see the forrest for the trees. The Sox have some major troubles this season, and a lot of those troubles are stemming from "MANNY BEING MANNY!" He is a problem in the cluhouse, he changes his mind about where he wants to be multiple times per season, he does not put in his best effort at all times, and he gets $20 million a year to do it! If you don't believe that, you are the deaf, dumb and blind one. Wake up and look around, there is a whole league going on...with talented players who would help the Sox. There is a report this morning, albeit, reported from Theo to Tim McCarver that the Sox are looking to trade Manny. If true, I don't believe McCarver, but if true, the knee is not an injury. Oh what to add. Okay I'll add that it's ironic how Manny took the game in Seattle off and it was no big deal. Then he took Friday off and people want him gone. He played yesterday and people still want him gone. The only difference I can see is that we won the game in Seattle. What else to add, yeah here is one. I believe that we stay the course and we'll win our 97 games and then make the playoffs and then see what happens. I'll also add that none of us knows what Manny's body feels like, I think he deserves the benefit of the doubt. I also believe that we're not where we were last year and there are lots of reasons for this (Beckett has not been as dominant, Paps has more blown saves, Oki has struggled, lots of middle relief problems, and the AL East is a lot better than it was last year) Now I hope that's enough of an addition to my "Wait till the end of the season and BLAH BLAH BLAH" Now my fingers are killing me from typing (You can believe me or not, I don't care) so I won't be able to make any more comments for a few hours. We can not judge the entire season at this moment, you are correct, but if you pay attention, you will see that things are not looking to be headed in the right direction. Manny is an ass, the bullpen is flat out awful, and there doesn't seem to be that "spark" with the 2008 team that there was in 2004-2007, that being said, if they can get rolling they are still the best in the game...I just see too many distractions/problems this season. ...View More

Still people missing what I am saying. i am not blaming manny. And I wrote a week ago, look it up,(Contrary to popular belief...Manny is replaceable) that he is replaceable. Plain and simple. Distractions or not, Manny is replaceable. I said it before jaywalking, bad knees and anything else. His numbers...NUMBERS are not worth $20 million. 	agree 100$ Ruff...Manny is towards the end of his career and it is time for him to go be a problem elsewhere. The Joker, if he didn't sit with 'bad knees' how are kicking him while he's down? That's not what I'm doing. Like he's reading what I'm saying and not performing becausing of it... They say that Manny has taken it too far and do their best to over-shadow exactly what Manny has done for this team. When I think of Manny, I think of the number 500.
