this guy was tearing up AL pitching long before i was born but growing up a sox fan and listening to my uncles talk about him   he instantly became my all time favourite player. it breaks my heart to hear this about him and i have him in my prayers. my grandpa recently passed away and now this. not to mention i just found out that leroi moore of dave matthews band died yesterday.  to hell with 2008 unless we win another title.
